Current Afffairs
Today in class we were learning about current affairs. In New Zealand a member of Parliament was kicked out for not wearing a tie.
CURRENT AFFAIRS
In this article Rawiri Waititi ejected from Parliament for not wearing a tie' - Written by RNZ Rawiri Waititi Maori Party co-leader Treva Mallard Speaker of the house are the main people in this article.
The key event in this article was that Rawiri Waititi was wearing a Maori stone (pounamu) in the government house and got kicked out by Trevor Mallard because he wasn’t wearing a ‘business’ tie.
This event took place in NewZealand Parliament (Beehive) Wellington.
This event took place on Wednesday the 10th of February 2021.
The main thing about this story was Rawiri Waititi not wearing a tie but he said the Maori stone (pounamu) was his tie to the Maori people because Maori was his culture so he said it was acceptable and Trevor Mallard said it was not.

The Amazing Camp
The Amazing Camping Trip
During the holiday me, Wylma, Stevenson and Nana went camping at big bay with my family. We had a difficult time setting up the tent. It was a twelve person tent but it felt like a 4 person tent.
I played Octopus with my cousins and uncle Hayden. It was so fun but it was also hot and we kept getting tagged and cried.
We also had a blue Hawaii party. All my family dressed up in blue clothes and we had a BBQ and wood fire pizzas. It was so delicious. My cousin Liam made a small campfire and we roasted marshmallows.
My camp highlight part was the beach trip, My family and I spent the whole day at the beach. We built sand castles, dug a big hole in the sand and made a pool. My favourite part was swimming in the clear water and doing bombs off the pontoon.
This camp was the first camp and I loved it.
